In celebration of #GivingTuesday – December 2, 2014 – the Gene Haas Foundation awarded over $500,000 to #VenturaCounty charities. The Foundation presented checks to organizations at the #Haas Automation headquarters in Oxnard, California, capping off a year of local grants totaling more than $1 million: http://bit.ly/GHF_Giving-Tuesday

Organizations that received checks included CAREGIVERS, Casa Pacifica, Food Share of Ventura County, RAIN Transitional Living Center, Society of St. Vincent de Paul, Council of Ventura County, St. John’s Healthcare Foundation, Ventura College Foundation, Ventura County Rescue Mission, and the Ventura County Rescue Mission, Lighthouse Recovery Program.
